Stay Close to Protect Your Children

Until you have a child, you probably never thought about all the dangers that threaten children in our world. Once you are a parent, however, they seem to surround you. They include dangers both inside and outside your home.

Today, I'll talk about possible dangers in trusting the care of your child or children to others--especially strangers. Have you thought carefully about the pros and cons of outside childcare?

Most new mothers would love to stay at home with their babies. But if you feel you must have two incomes coming in to survive and maintain your lifestyle, you may not see the possibilities. Have you thought about working from your home? If you are computer literate, there are several possibilities.

Perhaps your current employer will allow you to work through your home computer if your position accommodates it. If not, maybe another employer would allow it. Another choice is to go into an e-commerce business of your own.

Can you write intelligently? Maybe you could create an ezine site with a new article on your specialty every week or every month. Anyone who subscribes to your site could pay a membership fee, and, if they decide to download one of your articles, pay a small fee for each. You can do some research on this possibility.

The first thing you would need is knowledge about such an enterprise. How do you start an e-commerce business? Do you have a product that you could sell online, by downloading audio or video information CDs. Do you have information about a hobby or special knowledge of any kind that you could put on a blog?

If you do, then there are online marketing programs that would be interested in having you become an affiliate to them. In addition, other sites that offer products used for the subject of your web site could also use your site as an affiliate. When you are an affiliate, you earn commissions on any subscription or product that is sold to a person who clicks through to them from your web site. These commissions are paid directly to your bank account, so you wouldn't need merchant cards for this type of web site.

That means you could also get a free server such as www.tripod.com or www.geocities.com. Once you have created your site and are ready to publish, if you want to pay a very small fee, you could upgrade your site in order to have your own domain name and keep other ads off your web site.

I'm going to add a few links at the bottom of this page. I'm choosing some programs that I've found valuable myself, but you could also do a search on "Affiliate Marketing Programs" if you would like to. Just be careful, as there are a lot of programs that want you to buy more and more programs from them. You can spend a lot of money on information, and then have no time to read it. Many offer free booklets to get you started, then offer more information in another book for under $100. That could be a good introduction to online business.

The programs I've used also have member's forums, and one-on-one assistance is available through them. I've also been able to get help through going to Chat Lines or Forums and even going to the Technical Help on their web sites. I may add more links later on Affiliate Programs I learn about, so I hope you keep coming back to check them out.

Just check out the following sites and see if their information interests you.
